This is the response I got to taking Mallory's picture on the 1st day of school!
This is the, "Mom, I'm in 3rd grade now, and you don't take my picture on the 1st day of school." look! My little girl is really growing up. She's not a "little kid" anymore. She really was funny. I had to take her tissues, hand sanitizer, etc. into school on the 1st day. However, this year I was rushed right out the door. I guess we're too cool in 3rd grade to have our moms taking pictures. When we went to dance after the 1st day of school, one mom remarked she had to take her kids pictures coming out of school on the 1st day. She said her children wouldn't even let her walk them in. At least Mallory did let me walk her in!
